About Us

While studying for his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI, Loosewire DJ Service's President and Founder, Armando Bisceglia, was often asked to be the Emcee for various programs and events. After receiving a karaoke entertainment system as a gift, the reality of a potential entertainment business was conceived. With the support of friends and family, Loosewire DJ Services was born. While Loosewire DJ Services got its start in the halls of Johnson and Wales University, the company currently serves all types of entertainment needs at parties throughout New England. With more parties and events each year, Loosewire DJ's have managed to keep themselves busy all while sharing their love for music and entertainment. Every good party starts and ends with a full dance floor and a conga line through the kitchen to boot. Loosewire DJ Services promises to please even the shyest partygoer and will do whatever it takes to get the party started. Speaking of which, have you booked your event yet?

Meet Our Staff

When you hire Loosewire DJ Services to Emcee your party, you are getting the best bang for your buck. Our DJ's are all college-educated, hard working individuals, who in addition to attending university classes and maintaining full time jobs, have a sincere love for all types of music and enjoying sharing that passion through DJ and karaoke entertainment. Like the many genres of music that exist, our DJ's each have their own signature mark that they put on their parties. Meet Armando, Richy V, Jay Hughes, and our newest addition DJ Mini V.

Armando 'Crazy Mando' Bisceglia

Originally from Naples, Italy, Armando and his family came to the United States in 1983 and settled in Northern NJ. Always singing and dancing, his family knew that Armando was destined for the spotlight. In 1997, he relocated to Providence, RI to study Hospitality Administration at Johnson & Wales University. After planning countless floor programs and parties for his position as Resident Assistant and Director, the concept for Loosewire DJ Services was born. Armando serves as President and founder of Loosewire DJ Services and enjoys sharing his love for music with his fellow DJ's as well as clients and partygoers.

Richard 'DJ Richy V' Volpe

Richard Volpe is Loosewire DJ Service's Chief Technical Officer. Richard came on board in July of 2006 and quickly made himself at home behind the DJ booth. During the day Rich is Supervisor of Network Engineering for the local cable company. Richard is an intrigral part of the rebuilding of Loosewire's website, transitioning of music to digital media, and general upgrading of audio systems. If you are looking to relive the 80's or rap along to the 90's, Rich is the man you need behind the turntables. When Rich has time left he also acts as President of Fieri Providence. Fieri Providence is an Italian American Cultural Organization aimed at helping out in the Italian American Community. On that note it is safe to say that Rich's fortay is also Italian music.

Jay 'Hip Hop (HHH)' Hughes

When Triple H is in the house, we promise the party will be hopping. Jay 'Hip Hop' Hughes grew up in NYC and earlier than he learned to walk, Jay was making sweet music. Jay serves as our certified hip hop master! He always has the latest hits and dance moves ready to go and is at his best behind the DJ sound board. In addition to serving our needs as part of the team of Loosewire DJ's, Jay can often be found as a promoter for area club DJ's and small bands in Providence and Newport, Rhode Island.

Jason 'DJ Mini V' Volpe

Our newest DJ, Jason Volpe, came on board in July of 2007. Eventhough Jay has only been with us for six months his attitude and charisma is a fever that has effected all the DJ's here at Loosewire DJ Services. With his signature Argyle sweaters Jay not only knows his music, but spins it in style. That is why in the six months that Jay has been here he has shared the limelight with Armando, Rich, and Jay Hughes in 2007. Jay is a student at CCRI and also assists children in need at a local non profit organization.

Our Mission Statement

Loosewire DJ Services is an entertainment service, unlike any other that has been offered before. Providing friendly and professional service is the central driving force for Loosewire DJ Services. We realize that almost anyone can create play lists or tune into a favorite radio station. Most professional DJ's can effectively provide songs to set the mood for most occasions. Loosewire DJ Services, however provides Masters of Ceremonies who are interactive. As you celebrate an occasion, we celebrate that occasion with you. While we provide the standard DJ services, we also offer interactive services that include Karaoke and Singing and Dancing DJ services. No matter what the occasion and no matter what level of interaction you require we have it all. Loosewire DJ Services is unique in this approach and we intend to celebrate with you!
